Question formats and timers
Video, voice, written and mixed interviews with preparation and answer timers.
Each question can use its own response format:
- Video — the candidate records an answer with camera and microphone.
- Voice — audio-only recording with a live waveform.
- Written — a typed response with word and character counters and automatic draft saving.
Preparation timer
Choose no preparation time, 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, or a custom duration. Candidates see the question and a countdown before recording starts.
Answer timer
Choose 30 seconds, 1, 2, 3 or 5 minutes, or a custom duration. Recording can stop automatically when time runs out.
Written limits
Set minimum and maximum word counts or a character limit. Candidates see live counters and cannot submit outside your limits.
